Through the Night's Dream

From dusk and dark of night
Until the morning's early light
Through a tinted shade do we see the world
In the land of dreams, all is unfurled.
In this mystical place anything can occur;
Something new or something can recur.
The world can be twisted and deformed
Or it can be changed and transformed.
Your worst nightmare can arise
And wake you and take you by surprise.
Or travel off into a far away place
Even your own paradise, if that is the case.
Dreams reveal the abstract and surreal,
Dreams divulge the hidden and concealed.
So valuable and complex is the human mind
Without it, all reality would unwind.
